How long does therapy last?

The duration and frequency of psychotherapy vary depending on each client and their individual needs. The role of the therapist is to facilitate your process in answering this question for yourself. You will be encouraged to consider a number of factors, including current motivation, financial considerations, and the attainment of therapeutic goals. If and when you decide it is time to end psychotherapy, you will be invited to spend time reflecting on and reviewing your experience, while respecting the amount of time you wish to spend in the ending phase of therapy.

No Surprises Act

Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges
Under federal law, health care providers must give uninsured or self-pay individuals a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for health care items and services before they are provided. You may request a Good Faith Estimate of your bill before scheduling services and at any time. If you believe you were charged more than $400 above your Good Faith Estimate, you may be able to dispute the bill. For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
